Warwick University - 1 x 500 KVA Generator
We were asked by Warwick University to supply a new generator as the old generator was no longer big enough for the load of the University’s IT department. We attended several site meetings to ensure the package we intended to supply would meet the University’s guide lines for the on-going expansion projects.
We were chosen by Warwick University to supply the new generator as we had supplied the previous generator which had given years of trouble free service.
Lloyd’s TSB Auto Lease - 1 x 630 KVA Generator
We were asked to supply a new generator for the Birmingham branch of TSB Auto Lease as the old generator was no longer large enough. The project included us removing the old generator and installing the new one followed by connection of the new generator to the existing switchgear.
All work was carried out at the weekend in order to minimise disruption to the business. We worked in-hand with the electrical contractor to ensure the smooth running of the project. We were chosen by the electrical contractor to carry out the project as we had supplied a generator elsewhere in the TSB structure that had given good service.
Virgin Media - 30 x 11 KVA Generators
We were asked to supply 30 small bespoke generators to meet our clients specifications which required one off trolley’s, exhaust modifications and battery chargers; all of which were made in house at our fully equipped welding shop at our head office. We were awarded this contract as we had given Virgin media’s sister company NTL good service for 5 years encompassing several special projects
NTL Hammersmith - 1 x 1000 KVA Generator
We were asked by NTL to complete the installation of a Cummins generator as the installation was incomplete. We were required to complete pipe work, bulk tank, cabling, exhaust’s, day tanks and the commissioning of the generator.
The generator was installed in an under-ground car park. We were given this project as we had completed several problem projects for them successfully.
Serco - Specialist Cage
We were asked by Serco Birmingham to design and manufacture special caging to go round their switchgear panels. This was designed, manufactured and installed all within 3 weeks from original meeting with the client.
